Building Relationships, Shaping the Future
Please know that any contribution is put to good use. For example, a gift of:
- $20 buys pizza for our student advisory board to meet and provide insight to the department on student needs for the program.
- $50 buys a new tool or two for the machine shop for capstone projects.
- $225 covers one student’s Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam cost (the department reimburses students who take and pass the FE exam).
- $1,000 added to the Department’s Capstone Endowment returns ~$50 per year in perpetuity toward capstone costs.
If you are interested in making an even bigger impact, consider sponsoring a year-long senior design project, funding a scholarship, or naming a Mechanical Engineering-associated space, such as one of the dynamic, new laboratories in the Life Sciences and Engineering Building at the Science and Technology Campus.
