Lily Patterson, a recent graduate, combined her love of art with skills in engineering to create a 3d model structure for her senior design project. She double majored in art and visual technology and mechanical engineering.

Building The Car Of Tomorrow

Students from the Hypernova Solar organization built a solar-powered car from a 3d-printer. They plan on sending the Hypernova One — the car model — to the American Solar Challenge in July 2022.

Rise in the Rankings

The College of Engineering and Computing moved up to 92 for the top 100 for graduate programs in the 2023 U.S. News and World Report rankings.
