The College of Engineering and Computing is leveraging the a new clean room for its graduate certificate in microfabrication.

Collaboration between colleges has led to the creation of a unique autonomous surface water vehicle, collecting samples and reducing manual labor for researchers.

Mason researchers Jeffrey Moran in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Rémi Veneziano in the Department of Bioengineering, and Monique van Hoek, a microbiologist in the School of Systems Biology, won the NBIB R21 Trailblazer award. The team will research methods to dissolve harmful biofilms.

The recent recipient of the Beck Foundation Faculty Fellow award is building a fleet of maritime robots and will use the funds from the award to expand this work.
